The Plant employees of Hormel Foods Corporation (Austin, Minn.) completed their 2017 fundraising campaign for United Way of Mower County. The company’s employees raised $136,000.
“Fundraising is no easy task year after year, but the Plant employees continue to be committed to the community through this effort. They continue to be one of our strongest partners and this moves us closer to our goal and meeting community needs.” said Diane Baker, Executive Director of the United Way of Mower County.
The money raised by the Hormel Foods Austin Plant will contribute to the United Way of Mower County’s projected community need of $1,225,000. Donations to the 2017-2018 campaign will stay right here in Mower County, supporting programs targeting the needs of local residents.
