QPP Invests in Community

Quality Pork Processors completed their 2017 employee campaign for the United Way of Mower County with over $140,000.00 raised. This is the second consecutive year QPP employees have surpassed the $140,000 mark, a feat that reflects the employees’ unwavering commitment to the community.

“We are grateful for the work and dedication of Quality Pork Processors and their employees. They continue to be a strong partner in advancing the community toward a better tomorrow.” Diane Baker, Executive Director of the United Way of Mower County.

“To me, this year’s pledge means QPP employees understand the value of the programs United Way supports and that they are committed to their community and its citizens. It shows they want to help.” John Berglund, Campaign Chair at QPP.

The United Way of Mower County focuses their resources on four areas fundamental to a well-balanced life – Education, Income, Health, and Basic Needs.  These initiatives bring people together, promote positive lifestyle choices, and strengthen the community, with an emphasis on improving conditions for underserved populations.

United Way believes firmly in the power of collective impact. Community support is essential for the existence of programs that change the lives of so many Mower County residents, and this year’s investment from QPP will make a significant difference. No matter the donation amount, every contribution from QPP employees will go toward programs that ensure every person in our community has the chance for a better life.

We truly are all in this together and many things would not be possible without the compassion and dedication QPP employees continue to show. United Way understands the significance in its partnership with QPP and looks forward to the many years of collaboration that are to come.
